Boating

Cribblog 2018

   Aldermaston 30 September 2018.

Hull still being prepared for painting so still lots of dust and rust flying around, most of it must be outside the boat but inside it doesn't feel like it. Brushed up what I could and sanded and re-primed the wall cladding. Have decided on a standard 'small' double mattress which is 122cm wide and just slightly bigger than the last one which was probably the same but squashed into a 120cm frame.

Tom has drilled and tapped the water tank cover and I have asked Dave and his merry men to clean out the tank and re-coat with tank paint. I think I will have enough to do once she is afloat again.

Someone has tied the bow warp to the tent ridge pole. Not sure whether this is to hold down the tent or hold up the boat.

Like the matt finish of the undercoat, too bad they don't do a top coat in matt.
