Parties
Xmas 2018
Too many pics for a blog post so they are ending up here in a separate post that is in danger of getting lost among the other lost and lonely pages not to be found here. [I've been wondering what to call my new link to some of these and I think I might just have it now.]
Thanks to Jim, Alex, Jane, Lizz, Mark and Rosemary for making this a great xmas! With complete accord about the that which has divided the rest of the nation ... we ALL agree BREXIT is crap and we can rant on about it ... and we can.
In the run up to the big event, Jane emailed to ask if there was anything she could bring 'in addition to love and laughter of course'. Well what more could one ask? So thanks to you all for coming and bringing much love and laughter with you.

xmas eve with love and laughter.

Now just what are they looking at? It's Jane's faceswap app.

OK we'll give it a try.

Rosemary and Jim or is it Jim and Rosemary?

Well we better give it a try.

Before.

After.

Xmas day dawns and so does the jigsaw.

Then we all gather together ...

... to raise a toast ...

... to absent friends.

Tts in ZA.

Keep going on the jigsaw.

Get things ready for the oven: Turkey crown stuffed with oranges, legs waiting for later, cj about to do a runner with the links.

R gets ahead on the jigsaw

Next candidates ready for the oven.

Crackers and turkey.

A 'special' pre-santa gift for Alex ... a
smallpox bucket.

Then we head for secret santa gifts ...

from santa's secret sack.

Each of us supplied two secret gifts

one new of value less than £5 and one old, re-cycled or pre-used.

Alex got a pink elephant moneybox. It's not sure if its an elephant or a failed teapot.

As a teapot, it hasn't got a handle ... as an elephant it's missing something else.

Then its time for a game produced by Jane.

Jim listens to the instructions.

Jane demonstrates technique, tolift an egg without breaking it.

Jim's turn, did I mention one had to wear a yellow duck's beak while performing this feat?

Not long before there were casualties. [Among the eggs]

Next day we played table tennis.

Finished and no pieces missing.
